We had a wonderful experience and were able to see the dolphins hunting and swimming next to us. Captain D is also a… wonderful host who can speak Spanish and knows the area like his pocket! He’s a really nice person and a friendly guy! He really does make you confortable. I am 30 weeks pregnant and really wanted to surprise my husband with an unforgettable on the water moment and Captain D made sure I was confortable along the way. The drive was calm and peaceful. I highly recommend other people to book this activity and have a nice moment like we did!read more

Captain D is the best! This was an amazing cruise with beautiful sight seeing. We even got to see a bunch of dolphin… right next to the boat! Would highly recommend this tour and captain D to anyone visiting Charleston, this was the highlight of our trip!read more

We went on a sunset/booze cruise with Captain D for my friend’s bachelorette party. We all had so much fun out on the… water, seeing wildlife in their natural habitat, getting to know Captain D and just hanging out. Captain D is a great host and you won’t be disappointed!read more

Captain D was great! We did the sunset tour and it has been the highlight of our trip! Got to learn some cool ecology… stuff while taking a gorgeous trip and having some bomb margaritas. Boat was extremely nice and comfy. 10/10 will book again the next time we are in town!Seriously, Captain D was great, super accommodating to what we wanted to do, had a great music, really funny, gave us great restaurant recs for the rest of our trip, great communicator when setting up the trip. Just really went above and beyond to make it a perfect time. If we had more time we would be booking a second trip.read more

Captain D was a lovely host, made our private boat experience super fun. He made us delicious Margaritas not once but… twice.We could connect our Spotify to the built in speaker on the boat to enjoy our music as well.We caught glimpse of dolphins on our ride and collected some shells off Morris Island.Overall, joyful experience, fantastic host. Definitely recommend this tour.read more

Our family of 4 took the evening cruise w Capt D. We had a wonderful night. He made us yummy margaritas. We were able… to see dolphins and the old lighthouse. My husband was even able to do a lil fishing! Capt D was wonderful company and the night was so fun! We would do it again in a heartbeat!read more

Captain D ROCKS!!!! My husband and I went on a sunset cruise during our honeymoon in Charleston and we could not have… asked for a better experience. Jodi was very accommodating of our schedule and we lucked out with the most perfect evening. The views were incredible and it was both intimate and fun at the same time. We learned history about the Charleston Harbor (even got to ride by Fort Sumter!) and fun facts about the animals we saw along the way (dolphins, anyone?) My husband is not typically a margarita guy and he had TWO that Captain D made especially for us (seriously – they rivaled my grandmother’s recipe and that’s saying a lot). We cannot recommend this charter service more and will most definitely be doing it again when we come back to Charleston!read more

This was an amazing charter ! We will absolutely do it again next time we are in Charleston . We took along our 18… month old Beagle and Jody was absolutely amazing with her , he was very friendly , took the time to get to know us , and just made it a great experience . He even offered to take some pictures for us , and they came out so good ! By far the best Charter experience we have ever been a part of ! If you are looking for a great ride , great views , and just a pleasant ride , look Jody up ! He’s your guy ! 5+stars ⭐️read more

My sister and I surprised my mom with a cruise of Folly River and Captain D surpassed all of our expectations. We had… an amazing time and made some great memories. We saw a light house and dolphins and My mom even got to catch a fish. We did our cruise in the evening and seeing sunset from a boat while dolphins are swimming around you is something everyone should experience at least once. Can’t wait to book our next outing with Captain Ducworth!read more

The pouring rain could not stop our experience from being one of a kind and extraordinary. Captain D was extremely… friendly and hospitable. Our private cruise with Jody was the highlight of our time in Charleston. We loved being on the water and listening to… him tell us stories about where we were. The natural beauty of the area was breathtaking and enhanced by multiple dolphin sightings and a gorgeous sunset. Jody was super accommodating and helpful with our infant we brought along and made us feel at ease the entire trip.
